Aussies – Resilient and Destructive

I always felt, Cricket is like life. You never know whats gonna happen next!!
The above statement proved itself true last time when South Africa and Australia met in Johannesburg.
But certainly not yesterday,as most South African fans believed to happen.
It was a perfect day, perfect pitch, and a perfect setting for what happens to be one of the most exciting match of this world cup.
Australia began their juggernaut rolling , right from the first over, as Hayden and Gilchrist
smashed swashbuckling sixes and fours ,against what was hoped to be a formidable bowling attack.
It turned out to be completely wrong, as Pollock,Langeveldt,Kallis and Makhaya Ntini were completely thrashed with real classy textbook shots.

Australia proudly took back what rightly belonged to them, the no 1 spot in the ICC ODI Cricket Ratings ,and expected to receive $ 1,75,000 on April 1 for the same

The South African innings too provided its share of excitement ,with a blistering knock from A.B.Villiers and Graeme Smith. But as in the case of other teams, the middle order crash took place and there was no looking back for the Aussies

It is an undeniable fact that what took place yesterday was a feast for the eyes,as well as to show thatwhat a World Champion team really constitutes for.
Not just a skilfull team of 7 batsmen(including Gilli) and 4 bowlers, but a mystical force pushing on to achieve the impossible and a never say die attitude.
